Internships

The Filmery

I had an LTI (Learning through internships) at The filmery, this was when I was beginning to learn about film and started research. During my internship at The Filmery, my passion for cinema and strong work ethic shone through and I was eager to tackle various tasks and responsibilities. I went on one shoot with Duncan Toombs (Mentor) whilst I was there and It was for a music video at a music sudio just down the road from the studio, and I actually learned planty that day about how to run a shoot. I had to quickly adapt to the fast-paced and creative environment that is film, and demonstrated my talent for both technical and artistic aspects of filmmaking.

There was also someone else there every now and then helping me and his name was Kelvin, and he would help a lot more with learning about camera equipment and cameras themselves. I was there for 3 terms and I learned plenty,  I was very fortunate to have an intership at The Filmery and be apart of their team during this internship.

Central Coast Mariners

At the Mariners I had worked with a man called Dan Challinor, I was in the office doing all sorts of jobs each week whether that was tickets allocation, match day programme research or other tasks that needed doing. During my time at Central Coast Mariners I had demonstrated  dedication and a strong work ethic, quietly sitting and absorbing knowledge from the all the staff, and consistently displaying a will to learn. My passion for the game made this intership better for me and my ability to adapt to new situations made me a part of the team. My positive attitude and willingness to learn and to contribute hopefully made a lasting impression on everyone at the Mariners, and espeacially both my mentor and fellow interns.
